The A63 motorway project in South West France

Finance, upgrade, operate, and maintain a 105km highway section for the Ministère de l’Ecologie, du Développement Durable, des Transports et du Logement. The project included the enlargement and upgrade of an existing 105km road linking the towns of Salles (Gironde) and St-Geours de Maremne from a two to a three-lane highway.

The project also comprised the construction of two cross-lane toll barriers and parking facilities for 1,200 heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).

Phase 1 of the works was successfully delivered in April 2013, five months ahead of plan.  Phase 2 was completed in November 2013, seven months ahead of plan.

The Project’s senior debt was refinanced with long-term debt in June 2015.
