Finance, construct, operate, and maintain a crown and county court building for the Ministry of Justice

The Exeter Crown & County Court project is a 32 year concession, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice, to finance, construct, operate, and maintain a new crown and county court building in Exeter.

The project involved the construction of four criminal courts, one civil court, four district judge hearing rooms and associated accommodation in a single building.

Financial close was in November 2002. The works were completed by Sir Alfred McAlpine and the capital expenditure was approximately £20 million. Operations began in November 2004. FM services are provided by Sodexo and security services are provided by the court services.
