Finance, construct, operate, and maintain six primary and four secondary schools for Renfrewshire Council

The Renfrewshire Schools project is a 31 year concession to finance, construct, operate, and maintain ten schools – six primary and four secondary – in the Paisley, Linwood and West Johnstone areas of Renfrewshire, Scotland. The client is Renfrewshire Council. Between them, the schools serve 6,000 pupils.

Financial close was achieved in March 2005.

The schools were designed by JMA and built by Carillion Construction Limited as part of a three year construction period. Capital expenditure for the project was approximately £100 million.

All ten schools became operational in January 2008. Operations and maintenance services (FM services) are provided by Amey BPO Services Limited.
