Finance, construct, operate, and maintain hospital facilities for Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust

The Salford Hospital PFI project is a 35 year concession to finance, construct, operate, and maintain new-build facilities and associated site infrastructure in Salford for Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

The works entailed the redevelopment of Hope Hospital, which included the construction of new clinical accommodation, an education centre and a multi- storey car park.

The £137 million project reached financial close in September 2007. Balfour Beatty completed the construction of the new facilities in August 2012.

Cofely, a GDF SUEZ company, is providing Hard FM services to the project.
