Design, build, finance and operate two schools on behalf of Salford City Council

Salford Schools project is a 27 year concession to design, build, finance and operate two schools on behalf of Salford City Council.

The new schools are located on two sites in Salford and have capacity for 1,800 pupils. Financial close was achieved in November 2006.

The schools were constructed between 2006 and 2008 by Morgan Sindall, under a £36 million fixed-price contract.

The schools have been operational since September 2008.  Mitie PFI Limited provides both the Hard and Soft FM services and lifecycle obligations to the project.
