Ownership and development of two electricity transmission systems in Texas and Nevada, US

Texas Nevada Transmission (“TNT”) comprises two distinct electricity transmission systems: Cross Texas Transmission (“CTT”) and One Nevada Transmission (“ON Line”).

Combined, these networks consist of over 800km of high-voltage transmission lines, as well as a number of switching stations and substations, which have been fully operational since 2014.

Over 2023 / 2024, the operational performance of CTT and On Line achieved average availabilities of 99.99% and 100% respectively.

With InfraRed’s support, TNT’s management team is working to drive growth by connecting new power generation to the transmission systems. A pipeline of interconnection opportunities has already been identified, representing over 3GW of additional capacity by 2030.

Acquisition was achieved in April 2023.
